Prata Sannita

A municipality in the Province of Caserta, its history, according to bibliographical sources, dates back to the Paleolithic era. A settlement inhabited by various populations, from the Romans to the Normans and the Angevins, Prata Sannita has always been a stronghold offering refuge from the enemy. The imposing castle dominates the village, a historic center par excellence. The town is divided into two districts: Prata Inferiore, where the village and castle are located, and Prata Superiore, where the oldest streets are located. A must-see.
