Carnage run with no carnage?? | 750 CFS | Upper Clackamas River after flood changes | 2026

The 34,000 CFS floodwaters of December 2025 brought new changes to the Upper Clackamas River. Notably, some boulders moved around in the Rock and Roll main drop creating opposing lateral waves that turns into a hole at low water. Additionally, the gravel bar on river right in Toilet Bowl shifted around compressing the wave train even more. At low water, we are now seeing a much larger ledge hole on river left and an auto-boof below it also on river left. Do either of these rapids need a new difficulty classification? Get out there and check it out for yourself! So far our favorite flows on the new rapids have been 3,800 CFS and 850 CFS.
