The Sejm rejected a motion of no confidence in Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński. 232 MPs voted against the motion, while 202 voted in favor. A group of Law and Justice (PiS) MPs filed a motion to dismiss the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration. The opposition accused Kierwiński of, among other things, insufficient action in crisis situations and a decline in trust in state institutions. Prime Minister Donald Tusk, among others, defended his minister.
