When Is It Time to Give Up? Episode 19
There is a question that finds every person eventually, in music, in work, in life. When is it time to give up? Not the casual version of this question. The real one. The one that comes when you have been pushing for a long time and you genuinely cannot tell anymore whether continuing is courage or stubbornness. Whether stopping is wisdom or retreat. In today's video, I share what I have come to understand about this; through the moments I pushed through and later wished I hadn't, the moments I gave up and regretted it and the moments where both decisions turned out to be exactly right. I also talk about breakthroughs. Because in my experience, the most significant ones, the moments when something previously impossible suddenly becomes possible, tend to arrive just after the moment you almost gave up. If there is no sign telling you to stop, keep going. Especially when it's hard. What made you decide to push through or walk away? I'd love to hear from you in the comments.
