Mayukh Hazarika, along with Zubeen Garg, Papon, Lou Majaw, Nahid Afrin and Shillong Serenity Choir performing 'We're In The Same Boat Brother', originally composed by Lead Belly, at the opening ceremony of South Asian Games 2016 (SAG 2016) at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium (Guwahati). SAG is a major multi-sport event. The event took place from 5 February to 16 February, 2016, at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium (Guwahati) and Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Shillong). The song was recreated/re-composed by Mayukh Hazarika. Mayukh Hazarika is the son of legendary Assamese musician duo Jayanta Hazarika and Manisha Hazarika and nephew of the 'Bard of Assam' Dr Bhupen Hazarika.
