Tantrums...

Hey everyone, I'm so happy to be publishing this video!  So many of you ask me about tantrums and how to keep it mellow in these trying moments...  As always, there is a lot to be said for seeking connection and understanding as opposed to control and manipulation.   I always find personally that the approach with the least amount of judgment and the most amount of listening results in the most peaceful rest in the end. When we realize that it's normal, human, and healthy to feel emotions other than joy, we can gently and confidently guide our children through their big emotions and most intense moments in a way that helps them regulate with ease, and continue to do so without feeling criticized or condemned. Tell me your thoughts in the comments, guys, and let me know what you'd like me to cover next!
