Starve.io Speedrun: Super Hammer and Super Diving Mask in 7 Days

3 years ago, I tried to speedrun super hammer and super diving mask, but all of them died either to the kraken or savages. Check out the old video here:    • Starve.io - Speedrunning Super Hammer and ...  . The past few days, some people on Discord suggested that I retry this speedrun. I figured I'd give it another go, and I essentially first-tried it. I will note that it is impossible to give a consistent amount of time for this speedrun, or any other that requires mining huge amounts of resources (like dragon bow). The problem is that resources regenerate faster if there are more players on the server. Similarly, time is lost if a lot of players are mining resources that I am trying to mine. So, this kind of speedrun is fastest if there are a lot of players, but most of them are in the forest (this is why people used to bot servers, but don't bot servers because it annoys most players). I lost a few minutes because the kraken broke the trap before I finished killing it. I could have solved this problem by repairing the trap with a wrench, or using a diamond or amethyst sword (or axe) to kill the kraken faster. Since the kraken did break the trap, it might have been slightly faster to recycle my sword and craft a spear, since long range is good for this fighting method. Nonetheless, I am very happy with this run! As mentioned, hammers are very expensive. On top of that, I need diamonds for the diving mask, gold and amethyst for the super diving mask, and some of every mineral for walls and doors (here, I note that I needed a reidite trap because reidite buildings are 3x resistant to mob damage). In total, I needed the following amounts: 350 wood (plus more for fires, etc.) 458 stone (plus more for fires, etc.) 636 gold 594 diamond 312 amethyst 100 reidite I calculated these amounts before I started, and I checked my notes as needed. Some astute viewers might notice that I did this run while someone was doing a high score; fortunately, no one savaged me. This is probably because for most of the run, my own score was under 30k and I did not have particularly attractive gear (notice, I only had my super diving mask for a few minutes, during which I did not encounter anyone else). Either that or the only savages on the server were the high score makers, who were inside their base.
