The 10th batch of 9,182 pilgrims departed from Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas in Jammu for the holy Amarnath Cave under tight security. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited Baltal to review the arrangements and interacted with devotees, stating that despite the melting of the naturally formed ice Shivling, the faith of pilgrims remains unwavering. Meanwhile, the Indian Army's 18 Grenadiers rescued a 54-year-old woman pilgrim from Tamil Nadu near the holy cave under Operation Shiva 2026, showcasing exceptional dedication and humanitarian service.
