🍥Continuing from last time, I visited a set meal restaurant and a local Chinese restaurant that are beloved by local Narita residents, yet are less well-known—and delicious! 🍚First up, I'd like to introduce a set meal restaurant where all of the set meals are under 1,000 yen, and the most expensive item is the pork cutlet set meal at 990 yen! It's so blessed in today's harsh times that it makes you bow down (and I did!). The restaurant's name is "Shugetsu Shokudo." 🥢This time, I tried the cheapest set meal, the "Croquette Set Meal" at 720 yen, and the meat soba, the most expensive item on the udon and soba menu (though it was only 590 yen). The portions were just right, and the flavor was reminiscent of that nostalgic butcher's croquette. It goes really well with rice. Of course, the meat soba is also delicious. 🍲 "Shugetsu Shokudo" ~ 05:44 ~ 🥟 Next up, we headed to "Mentaku," a hidden gem of a local Chinese restaurant located right next door to "Shugetsu Shokudo." This time, I ordered the popular "Stir-fried Green Pepper and Pork" lunch bowl set, and the delicious "Shrimp Ramen," a salty soup with stir-fried Chinese cabbage, lily root, and shrimp in a thick sauce. They also offer a unique service: you can change the ramen noodles to "Pho."
