Vilafamés, a charming inland village, is located approximately 25 km from the city of Castellón. This place is distinguished by its captivating old town, where strolling through its streets is a journey back to its Moorish roots, with narrow, winding alleyways and surprising corners, including its imposing hilltop castle and the small church at its foot. The striking "Roca Grossa," an imposing mass of red sandstone, draws the eye as you ascend the town's main street. The most striking feature is the predominance of buildings constructed from rocky stone throughout Vilafamés' old town.
