I went on an epic motorcycle ride through Costa Rica with Michael—a follower I met on Instagram and had never actually met in real life before! Located in southern Central America, Costa Rica sits between Panama to the southeast and Nicaragua to the north. It’s famous for having no standing army, but that’s not the only crazy thing about this tiny country. Despite being roughly the combined size of Kyushu and Shikoku, Costa Rica is said to be home to around 5% of all known species on Earth. Costa Rica is still a pretty unfamiliar destination for many Japanese travelers, so in this video, I’m taking you along for the ride while sharing some fun facts and showing you what makes this mysterious little country so special.
