Comet Stacking. DeepSkyStacker Tutorial. Atlas C/2019 Y4

#CometStacking #DeepSkyStacker #C2019Y4Atlas Comet stacking in DeepSkyStacker and stack comparison of the Comet Atlas C/2019 Y4. I have stacked the comet many times using different options and did compare to be able to know which are the best methods to use. Comet Stacking it is more difficult then stacking other astrophotography images. You have also to select the position of the comet and be sure to select the right settings so you will have a good result after stacking. It took me some time to notice that using 3x drizzle on comet stacking was problematic, and my test results on the comet atlas with 3x Drizzle did not had good results, so i decided to stack multiple times, and I will show you the results on stacking the comet Atlas with No Drizzle, 2x Drizzle and 3x Drizzle, also I will mention the best stacking methods for stacking comets. I have tried all 3 methods from the comet settings and I reveal in the video in the video the results with the stars + comet stacking and comet stacking options. On standard stacking I did obtain similar results with the option stars + comet stacking and the results were very similar. To get even better images of the stars you can also photograph the region when the comet is not on that area in the sky and combine with an image stack of the comet. If you have problems you can try to stack with no drizzle and use the best images also you can test with smaller stacks from not so many images. You will be able yo see also how I made a fast edit in Dss and my editing results in Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw. Hope this video will help you, Clear Sky!
