The overthinking, the placement tension, the “what if” thoughts — everything feels heavy sometimes. In the first part of this video, I share what’s really going on in my mind and how I’m dealing with the pressure of not being placed yet as a Nautical Science cadet. But life isn’t only about stress… In the second part, I step onto the basketball court 🏀 — because sometimes the best therapy is the game you love. For those few moments, it wasn’t about placement, competition, or fear. It was just about playing freely. And then comes the twist. We were supposed to go for a ship visit through campus. I was honestly very excited to step onboard and experience it. But due to some unavoidable circumstances, the ship visit got cancelled at the last moment. Instead, we were taken for a terminal visit — and surprisingly, it turned out to be an amazing learning experience. From understanding port operations to seeing how things work on the ground level, it gave me a new perspective about the maritime industry.
