What if there were a viable alternative that allowed all French people, everywhere in France, to move around freely without a car, while reducing land use, accidents, and the economic and environmental costs? To discuss these topics, I am pleased to welcome Tom Dubois. Tom is responsible for promoting the research of the Forum Vies Mobiles, a French think tank specializing in mobility, whose goal is to address citizens' aspirations while moving away from the carbon-based mobility system. Last year, they published a report entitled "ALTERNATIVE MOBILITY SYSTEM: BEING FREE TO MOVE AROUND WITHOUT A CAR IN ALL TERRITORIES!" In this episode, we will explore: The true social, economic, and environmental cost of the car system; What if an alternative system exists that addresses these points?
