How to check for a good or bad armature
In this video you will learn how to properly test an armature. Their are 3 test that most be done to determine a good or bad armature. These test are: 1) 180⁰ resistance test measures the resistance of the winding on the commutator bars at 180⁰ apart. 2) Bar to Bar resistance test measures each individual bar in a loop. 3) Bar to Ground resistance test is done to ensure that theirs no continuity from the commutator bar to the armature shaft.
