In this TRANTEK robotic mig welding system, automotive components are loaded into fixtures on dial tables, which clamp the parts before rotating into a cell where two FANUC Arc Mate 100iC robots use coordinated motion to weld the sub-assemblies together.   The dial tables are fitted with both LH and RH tooling and automatically present the proper fixture to the operator and weld robots for the part being run at that time.   This series of weld cells includes one sub assembly dial table weld cell, one sub assembly fixture with bowl fed bracket, one final assembly dial weld cell, and one material handling robot. A second fully automated weld cell features a FANUC M-10iA robot loading and unloading parts onto a fixture for a FANUC Arc Mate 100iC robot to weld, producing the second sub-assembled part. After the sub assemblies are completed, they are fed into a final welding cell where the parts are manually loaded onto a fixture table.
