Here's some of the WORST and most DANGEROUS parts of Detroit. This city is one of the most dangerous, and also abandoned places in America. Since the Auto collapse and bad financial decisions by many, this city has been on the decline for many decades now. From a height of population at 1.8 million now down to about a third of that, there are so many abandoned buildings and homes. Street after street, its unreal. Poverty is at a soaring rate of over 40%, and in some neighborhoods it's at an unbelievable 83% ! It truly looks like a war zone in many places, and to be honest at times it really is. These aren't your typical neighborhood areas on decline, it's some of the most dangerous hoods in the United States.
