Former mayor of Antofagasta, Karen Rojo, will arrive in Chile, extradited from the Netherlands. In 2022, the former mayor was sentenced to five years and one day in prison for tax fraud. Seeking to evade justice, she fled to Europe. Today she returns and could serve the remainder of her sentence under house arrest.
