Jurassic Africa Had It's Own Giant Allosaurus

150 million years ago, a familiar scene unfolds on the Late Jurassic stage. Giant, long necked herbivores trim the treetops, as they tower over this lush, humid world. In their shadows, scattered beneath their feet, large plated plant eaters browse on the low growing ferns and cycads sprouting from the Earth. Stalking from the shadows was the typical crested silhouette of the time’s elephant-sized carnivore – Allosaurus, the apex predator of Western North America, in what would one day be the Morrison Formation. However, this isn’t the Morrison, but a depositional environment a whole continent away – it would be called Tendaguru millions of years later. It seems a lot like North America, the domain of Allosaurus...but looks can be deceiving. __________________________________________________________________ Art in Thumbnail belongs to - __________________________________________________________________ Script by ✅‪@OmegaPictures318‬✅ Edited by me __________________________________________________________________ ✅Tyler Addison ✅   / tyleraddison17   ✅Adam Midzuk ✅   / kuzim_za   __________________________________________________________________ ✅ World of Monsters ✅    / @w0rldofmonsterz   ✅ EDGE Of Reality ✅    / @edgeofreality420   __________________________________________________________________ ✅ PATREON ✅   / edgescience   ✅ STICKERS & SHIRTS ✅ https://www.redbubble.com/people/Pain... ✅Facebook: facebook.com/ExpeditionDG/ ✅Twitter: twitter.com/NatSciChannel ✅Instagram: @edgeonthetrail ✅ MUSIC ✅ “Animal Planet’s The Most Extreme - Intro Theme” - PastEonsProductions “Long Road Ahead” - Kevin MacLeod “SciFi” - Bensound “Seinwave” - Abelard “The Most Extreme - CGI Theme” - Diario’s Music “Tech Live” - Kevin MacLeod “Altech” - Kevin MacLeod __________________________________________________________________ If I've used something on my video that you don't want me to use, PLEASE EMAIL ME first before flagging a video, I'm very reasonable and will take the video down to replace whatever image or video belongs to you.
