Tutmaç Soup 1 cup green lentils 1 cup soup noodles 1 chopped onion 1 large bowl of yogurt 2 tablespoons flour 1 tablespoon butter Black pepper, salt, and wild mint (nishoş) or regular mint First, I soaked the lentils in lemon water. After about 20 minutes, I drained them. I put the butter in a pot and added the onion. When it was lightly sautéed, I added the lentils. I stirred a few times and added hot water. When the water boiled, I immediately added the noodles. After boiling for about 10 minutes, it's cooked, check it. While it's boiling, whisk the yogurt and flour. Add some of the soup broth to warm it up. And add it to the soup, stirring. Stir and boil. Black pepper goes very well with it. I added about 1 teaspoon. I also added salt and finally the mint and served it. It's wonderful, one of my most tried and tested soups. Try it and let me know what you think.
