Palmanova is a popular resort holiday destination in Mallorca, Spain. This little town is 20 minutes away from capital Palma de Mallorca and 30 minutes away from Mallorca airport. The reason why so many people choose Palmanova when travelling to Mallorca is probably its convenience. The little town is walkable and has lots of restaurants and shops. There are three long sandy beaches with many services : showers, rentable sun loungers and umbrellas, paddle boats, canoes and many more. Hotels, like the popular Globales Palmanova or Fergus Club Palmanova park, are conveniently located in front of the beach. But there are also a few downsides. In high season the sea isn’t as clear as in other areas of Mallorca. And, in our opinion, Palmanova doesn’t reflect the authentic beauty of Mallorca.
