Although it was my first time visiting Hong Kong, to share my honest review of my 4-night, 5-day trip: I think I understand a little bit why Hong Kong isn't as popular as it used to be. I suspect the biggest reason is the "value for money." Haha. I felt like I'd rather travel to another country for this price. Round-trip airfare: 400,000 won Hostel (4 nights): 220,000 won Local expenses: 600,000 won Total cost: Approximately 1.2 million won. Food - I didn't feel it was a huge selling point. (Though I still enjoyed the food! Haha) The weather is hit-or-miss, but I think it will have some impact on the trip. It would be best if the weather was good throughout the entire trip, but if you lower your expectations a bit, it might actually be a better trip. I actually prefer it~ (+Hot and humid is the default setting, haha) Nevertheless, Hong Kong's popularity still seems to be global. There were so many people everywhere I went. That just goes to show just how undeniably Hong Kong has its own unique charm, doesn't it? There are various trekking courses, and starting with buildings that exude Hong Kong's distinctive vibe, I think the best part is definitely the night view. Haha. If you are traveling with the compulsion to "absolutely have to bring back something because I went on a trip!", you might be slightly disappointed. However, if you let go of that mindset and simply enjoy the city of Hong Kong itself, I think it will make for a much better trip. Haha. #HongKong #hongkong #HongKongTravel
