Nillion Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Conrad Whelan, who was previously the Founding Engineer of Uber, gives a guest lecture Oxford University detailing his journey from Uber to Nillion. Conrad explores his journey from building one of the biggest web2 networks in the world, to his current role in building out Nillion's decentralized web3 network. Background: Before joining Nillion as CTO, Conrad Whelan was a member of the founding team at Uber. He joined as the company’s first full time engineer in April 2010 and aided in the initial launch of the product followed by development of many of the key pieces of the early technology. Conrad is enthusiastic about building software engineering teams with the intent to work on hard technological challenges.
