Three beautiful araucarias from Jungle Boogie arrived in our conservatory before the holidays as Christmas trees 🎄🎄🎄 They looked wonderful against the garden backdrop, adorned with delicate lights 🎄 Now we plan to keep them permanently – in the conservatory during the winter and in the garden during the summer. To ensure the araucaria grows well, it's worth adding some peat to the soil to slightly acidify it. The araucaria will appreciate a bright spot with plenty of sun, but it's worth protecting it from the harshest sun. In winter, it needs a slightly cooler location, which is why it often suffers in our hot, dark apartments. We water it so that the soil doesn't dry out completely, but avoid overwatering the roots, as this causes yellowing of the needles and even rotting of the root ball.
