Building a Les Paul

This is a photo/video presentation, of building my first guitar. The electronics bought by Stewmac. StewMac Overwound Humbucker Pickups The overwound versions of StewMac Humbucker Pickups! The same Alnico 5 magnets, but overwound to 12K ohms for high output, powerful midrange, and driving tone. The new standard for overwound pickups More than just high output, the Alnico 5 magnet produces a clear tone with more pronounced highs and a full but defined bass. WK Les Paul Maple top. Maple trussrod cover and on the back maple switch and control cover. Body- Mahogany sipo. Neck- Mahogany Honduras- (scarf joint). Ebony- fingerboard- scale 24.562’’ 623.87mm 22 frets radius 12’’ . Peghead overlay veneer- ebony veneer. Traditional trussrod- one way. Pickguard cream. Strap buttons for Gibson-polished aluminum. Chrome metal jack plate for Gibson. Stewmac overwound humbuckers nikkel cover, neck and bridge 4x Top hat bell knob- gold and 4x knob position indicator- nickel. Plastic mounting rings for humbucking pickups- cream. Stainless steel fretwire medium/ higher. Zero glide nuts ZS-1 stainless steel zero fret 0.051’’ Toggle switch knob and plate- cream. Switchcraft toggle switch-tall chrome. Grover Roto grip locking tuners-502 series 3+3 tuners. Stewmac stainless steel fretwire- medium/higher. Cream plastic binding body and neck. Finish Mahogany body and Neck 2 layers Grain filler and body/neck Sustain “Red Barron” 10 layers Nitro cellulose laquere and polished. Ebony fingerboard and ebony veneer - Lemon oil.
