Since we left Cuba for Trinidad and Tobago, we have been discovering new cultures and living new experiences together. On this occasion, I decided to take my dad to a local market to do the week's shopping. Their amazement and excitement at seeing the abundance of fresh and varied food was truly moving. We were able to explore the different aisles full of fruits, vegetables, meats and products that I had never seen before. As we progressed, her face lit up with a smile full of gratitude and wonder.
