Romania's #U18 #captain Eduard Panait says the #team is fully prepared and eagerly looking #forward to the #start of the #CEV U18 #European #Championship, a #tournament that holds #special #significance for him as he prepares to lead the national team at his first European Championship. "We're very well prepared and can't wait for the #competition to #begin. It's a special moment for me because it's my #first European Championship as captain of the national team." Looking back on the U18 Balkan Championship, Panait says the #best #memories were created both on and off the court, especially through the time spent with his teammates. He also #recalls Romania's successful #qualification tournament in Ploiești, where the team enjoyed #incredible #support from the home crowd. "Playing in front of nearly 1,700 fans was an #unforgettable #experience. The atmosphere was amazing, and the support we received helped us qualify for the European Championship." Known as both the team's captain and its unofficial #DJ, Panait never travels without his portable #speaker. Music is an #essential part of his pre-match routine, helping him relax and get into the right mindset before every game. He has already prepared a #playlist for the European Championship. At #club level, Panait has been competing in Romania's Divizia A1 for the past two seasons. Originally from Tulcea, he says adapting to #life and #volleyball in Galați came naturally, and he hopes that one day he will have the #opportunity to play in the new sports hall being built in his #hometown.
