Fixing Bent/Broken Knife Tip
This blade was bent by severe abuse of prying off a stuck nougat from a ceramic dish, which resulted in permanent deformation on the tip of the blade. There is little to be done mitigating bend on such thin piece of heat treated martensitic stainless steel, which, any attempt to bend it back up would easily lead to fracture of this fragile tip, and do no further. I have gently re-profiled the blade using smooth cut file for major stock removal, then moved onto abrasives.
