#BigDeckSmallDeck Exploring macro & microcosm through Travel Tarot & This Might Help Oracle decks

I've been thinking about the big picture versus the small picture and how we might address that through tarot and oracle reading, as well as our selection of decks. Join me as I take a side-by-side look through two recent deck purchases, Lonely Planet Travel Tarot and This Might Help Oracle deck. One features vistas from around the world, the other focuses on small details from sister deck The Might Hurt. I walk through the full decks, sharing some memories, experiences and thoughts along the way. There are a couple of books mentioned as well as ideas about the Elizabethan / Renaissance worldview of the macrocosm and microcosm and how these related to each other. I consider how this might help shift our perspective on life and how it also has relevance to magical practice. If you would like to do a VR to this please use the hashtag #BigDeckSmallDeck in the VR title and either free flow or use the prompts below. 1) A deck from your collection that shows the big picture. 2) A deck from your collection that shows the small things. 3). How do each of these read? Is one better at showing big ideas and the other small details, or does the opposite hold true? 4) Is there a conversation between big and small in your readings? 5) Are you more drawn to big ideas in decks or small prompts and details? Do you tend to read 'big' or 'small'? 6) How can scale change our perspective? #tarotcommunity #oracle
