In this video, I discuss how evolutionary relationships are explained through phylogeny, or the study of the evolutionary history of a species or group of species. I then explain how to read phylogenetic trees and demonstrate how to make a cladogram based on shared characteristics between groups of organisms. EVO-3.B: Describe the types of evidence tat can be used to infer an evolutionary relationship.
