Land o' Lakes is a city/suburb in Pasco County, Florida, United States. Land o' Lakes is part of the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, Florida Metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, the population was 31,145. The population grew rapidly during the 1990s, growing from 7,800 residents to 20,971 as new housing developments were built. Land O Lakes is located about 30 minutes north of Tampa and is a suburb of the Tampa area. As I drive around here it seemed like a quiet place for families but nothing to see as far as attractions.
