Genoa Oldest Town in Nevada

Founded in 1851, Genoa, Nevada's oldest town, is a beautiful site at the edge of the Carson Valley at the foot of Lake Tahoe, 50 miles south of Reno and only a dozen miles from Carson City. I visited during fall foliage time in October and found the town and the state park to be simply gorgeous! The video looks at the Mormon Station State Historic Site and the oldest tavern in Nevada.
