Both shoes look incredible on the shelf — but on the course, they perform very differently. The original MG4+ starts strong with a cushioned, stable-feeling first step, but quickly reveals its limitations: a high heel drop, stiff upper, significant heel slip, pressure points along the lateral forefoot, and a surprisingly disconnected feel during follow-through. If you loved the look of the original MG4+ but couldn’t handle the instability, the O2 is a meaningful upgrade — just not a perfect one.
