Alta CRIA no Globo Rural | Como o manejo de bezerras impacta o futuro do rebanho leiteiro

The Alta CRIA Program, from Alta Brasil, was featured on Globo Rural, showing how the correct management of calves in the first days of life can directly impact the future productivity of the dairy herd. Recognized as the largest data collection program for calves and heifers in the world, Alta CRIA gathers information from more than 180 participating farms, which together produce more than 2.9 million liters of milk per day. Over the years, the program has evaluated more than 250,000 calves, establishing itself as an important technical basis for the breeding of future high-producing cows. The report included the participation of Granja Leiteira Eudes Braga (MG), a national reference in milk productivity, and producer Fernando Machado e Silva, a participant in the program for two years.
