Arvel #theFitRealtor and Bear have a day on the lake in Big Bear! Way atop the San Bernardino National Forest. Live from Big Bear Lake, CA. The lake is very scenic and a beautiful place to visit. It's a short ride from San Bernardino and Riverside. Highway 330 to Highway 38. Shore fishing exist on the North Shore from the Bear Valley Dam to Juniper Point to the East Public Boat Launch, and then Stanfield Cutoff. The wind was blowing us away on this particular day. Still a good time. Big Bear Lake is arguably the best freshwater fishing lake in Southern California. Big Bear is known for its rainbow trout. Big Bear Lake is also a great spot for catching bass, catfish, and carp. Join our channel:    / @fitfishing   Channel catfish are great to fish for throughout the summer. Catfish love stink baits, mackerel, shrimp or chicken livers, and are on the prowl both day and night, so fishing is good all day long. Catfish can be found on the east end of the lake near Stanfield cutoff and the East Boat Public Launch Ramp.
