Majella's Cateran Trail
In March 2026 I arrived again at Bridge of Cally in Perthshire determined to walk this trail. I'd been here in November 2025 but, following an overnight storm I knew some of the river crossings might not be possible so I went and did an alternative hike. I'm glad I did it in March because the weather conditions were perfect and Perthshire in spring is a joy. It was one of my favourite walks to date ..... despite two very cold nights due to a failed sleeping pad.
