Video Editor: Uploader: SURYA.CO.ID - Former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, was not detained after undergoing his initial questioning as a suspect at the Attorney General's Office (AGO) on Friday (July 17, 2026). This confirmation was conveyed by his attorney, Hotman Paris Hutapea, after accompanying him during the questioning, which lasted approximately nine hours. Hotman Paris stated that Febrie was questioned from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m. WIB. According to Hotman, AGO investigators asked 18 questions, all related to the alleged corruption case at PT Asabri. "The conclusion is that there is no detention. He is being questioned as a suspect. There is no detention today," Hotman Paris said at a press conference at the AGO. He explained that Febrie had answered all of the investigators' questions during the questioning process. Febrie is known to be a suspect in three cases: alleged corruption at PT Asabri, alleged corruption at a subsidiary of PT Krakatau Steel, and alleged corruption at a coal-fired power plant (PLTU) project. Previously, the cases involving Febrie Adriansyah and Don Ritto were handled by the National Police's Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor).
