D120 is a four-cylinder diesel engine that is used in a number of heavy-duty machines like Komatsu dozers, bulldozers, graders, wheel loaders, electricity generators, etc. In this video, three young mechanics are overhauling a D120 engine in a local workshop with very basic tools and techniques. They have replaced all cylinder sleeves, pistons, valves, valve seals, and crankshaft bearings with new ones. The full gasket set has also been changed. The timing gear set has been carefully installed and the crankshaft refurbished. The spare parts of the engine are mostly manufactured in China, Taiwan, and Japan.
