I always thought the verses sounded a little bit like Tool, which is probably why I'm convinced that this song has one of the best Slipknot verses out there. There is an actual official isolated bass track on the internet, so this was a much easier tab than Vermilion. The bridge at 3:04 is quite sudden, and I guess that super-fast jump to the 12th fret is exactly why you don't see any of the Slipknot bassists play this live on stage. Usually, it's replaced by a bunch of keys or by much lower bass notes in the more recent shows. The final chorus has a bunch of variations, so make sure to keep an eye out for those. I just understand how I never really heard any of those fills back in 2010. The bass is basically doing one big walking bassline there. Some important information that nobody is going to read.
