'Primary Sky' Painting Demo

'Primary Sky' is an oil on canvas (80 x 80cm) skyscape painted predominantly using only 3 colours, ivory black and Zinc/ titanium white. Much of the impasto is applied using various palette knifes. These colours are: Translucent Cyan, Cadmium yellow light and Quinacridone Rose. Ivory black is used only for coverage/opacity. The greys and tertiary colours are all created by neutralizing the 3 primaries (CMY).
