A journalist and filmmaker from downunder, her directorial debut THE REPEATER premiered at Screamfest LA and was selected in 30+ international film festivals including Oscar-qualifying Krakow Film Festival and Winner of Best Narrative Short at Screener Short Film Festival in London. She’s also co-writer of feature KEPLER SEXTO B starring Spanish actor Karra Elejalde that premiered at the Málaga Film Festival (Spain) and released in Spanish theaters June 2023. Grete's screenplays have also earned accolades with Stowe Story Labs, Final Draft Big Break as well as Screencraft TV Pilot Launch. Asian by heritage, Grete grew up as an outsider from a dysfunctional family and has confronted adverse situations due to her ethnicity, an experience which blends into her writing.
