Kennington's Zone Change Messes with the Tube Map
The Northern Line Extension is coming with two new stations - Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms, and because they're being placed into Zone 1, Kennington Tube Station has already changed from a Zone 2 station to a Zone 1/2 station instead. This means that fares have changed, which is fine ... but how is this going to be displayed on future maps? I think we may have a problem with that one ... I have a Ko-Fi page where (thank you!) if you'd like to support me/the channel: https://ko-fi.com/geofftech TfL have already updated their website map with the new Kenningon change: https://tfl.gov.uk/maps/track/tube You should also read Diamond Geezer's blog about the Kennington Change: https://diamondgeezer.blogspot.com/20... And see also the excellent Oyster-Rail website where Mike has two articles on this: Kennington Rezoned - https://oysterfares.com/kennington-re...
