Paneer Jalebi is a traditional Bengali Sweet that is known as chanar jilipi. A thick batter of paneer and flaour is prepared. It is then piped out over medium hot oil and then dipped in a sugar syrup like a jalebi is done. This is a quick and easy recipe that looks beautiful and tastes delicious too! Check out the recipe of Paneer Jalebi and let me know how you liked it! ‪@EmamiHealthyTasty‬ Recipe: Paneer Jalebi Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Serves: 3-4 Ingredients: For paneer jalebi batter: 250g cup paneer 1 cup flour ½ tsp baking powder 3 tbsp corn flour Pinch of red-orange food color 4 tbsp milk For sugar syrup 1 cup Sugar 1 cup Water 10 strands Saffron Few drops lemon juice ½ tsp cardamom powder Emami Healthy & Tasty Soyabean Oil for frying Pistachio slivers for garnish Method: Add sugar, water, and few drops of lemon juice in a pan on medium heat, and stir until sugar dissolves and starts to boil. Once it starts boiling, add few drops of lemon juice to clarify the syrup. Add the saffron, elaichi powder and reduce the heat and simmer for 7-8 minutes. In a blender jar, crumble the paneer and grind without adding any water to form a smooth paste. To this, add flour, baking powder, cornflour, food color, milk in small batches and blend to form a smooth and fluffy batter. Fix a star nozzle or round nozzle in a piping bag. Add the jalebi batter to the piping bag. Heat Emami Healthy & Tasty Soyabean oil in a pan for frying on medium flame. Press and turn the piping bag in a circular motion to form a round spiral-shaped jalebi. Once it becomes firm and golden brown at the bottom, flip and cook on another side till it is crisp. Transfer the warm jalebis into cooled sugar syrup and soak for 2 minutes and then transfer it to a serving plate. Garnish it with pistachios and enjoy.
