The Type 74 tank, which has long supported the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's 2nd Tank Regiment, is finally being decommissioned. On March 5th, the "Type 74 Tank De-Souling Ceremony" was held at the snow-covered Kamifurano Garrison. On its final grand stage, it raced through the snowy fields along with the Type 10 tank, Type 90 tank, and Type 16 Mobile Combat Vehicle.
