Its simply preference, I own an PE MG100, a TMC, a k98 Hammer 7 and a PPQ. Where’s the nearest paintball site to me?. ► My Nearest site is Task force Paintball and Airsoft in Cowbridge, a fantastic family run site that I’ve played at for years. How do I start paintball? ► Many events and walk ons in the UK do rental gear, normally only an extra tenner on top of the ticket price. Failing that, if you come to most walk on games, players tend to have spare kit that they would be happy for you to try out and see what fits. Get involved in Facebook and instagram paintball groups, and start chatting :) Come say hi at any game!. Is paintball better than Airsoft? ► Depends what you want out of it. For me, paintball hurts, which creates adrenaline through the anticipation of being hit, that in turn excites the hell out of me and theres nothing quite like it. What paintball gear do you need? ► A mask, more than anything else, followed by your marker and air tank. Once you have those, your good to go when you pick up your paint on site :) What paintball gun does Barker use?. ► Barker uses a custom painted Blue Tippmann TMC. What paintball mask should I get? ► I use an ex rental Proto Full head shield mask, which I’ve customised to my liking. Masks are very personal choices, and not everyone fits the same. Try before you buy if you can. What paintball gun hurts the most? ► They all smart pretty bad lol. How to play paintball? ► Turn up to site, grab some kit, go pew pew. Theres no greater experience than first hand experience, and that can only be gained by playing yourself. Does paintball hurt? ► Yes, if anyone says otherwise then their lying. But adrenaline masks pain, excitement takes over, and you forget the pain almost instantly. I wear a lot of padding too, so theres always ways of lessoning the sting.
