In anticipation of the film "Glorious Back Home" being released on Friday, November 28th, a special roundtable video has been released featuring Hanshin Tigers second-division manager Katsuo Hirata, who coached Yokota Shintaro since he joined the team; Takaya Matsutani, who plays Yokota Shintaro; Kyoka Suzuki, who plays his mother, Yokota Manami; and Manager Jun Akiyama. Filming took place at Nippon Steel SGL Stadium Amagasaki, the home of the Hanshin Tigers' second division, and the set was filled with a warm atmosphere filled with laughter and tears. In the video, Manager Hirata passionately, joyfully, and tearfully discusses Yokota's first meeting with him, his personality, the discovery of his illness, his return, the Hanshin Tigers' 2023 championship, and what the future holds. The video also looks back on Yokota's "miraculous back home" and the 2023 Hanshin victory. The video is packed with behind-the-scenes stories about Yokota, including the making of the film and insider knowledge only Manager Hirata knows, so it's a must-see for non-baseball fans alike!
