Hello, Welcome to our channel- Hill Family adventures in Japan. Today Adventures, Hotokegaura (仏ヶ浦 also 仏宇多, Hotoke-ga-ura) is a series of rock formations along the sea cliffs on the west coast of Shimokita Peninsula at the entrance to Mutsu Bay in far northern Japan. Really cool experience. You can walk and climb around the rock formations. Look for little crabs scuttling around by the water’s edge. The parking lot is a ten minute walk up and down stairs through the forest. Loved this trip! The drive was far from Misawa but worth every minute.
