THEME: HAVING PERMANENCY IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD SCRIPTURE: EZEKEIL 22:30, 1 KINGS 17:1 NKJV /NASB, PSALM 24:3-4, MATHEW 10:8, ISAIAH 58:3 NASB 👉🏻The place in which you stand with no one seeing has testimony before multitudes. ✍️Most of our fasting is rending of garments and not rending of hearts. Such kind of fasting is first of all selfish, secondly it seeks its own. It does seek to draw closer to God. •✍️Your fasting should seek to close the gap that’s between you and your God. • And if we are to render our hearts, we need to tend the word. [ Joel 2:12-13 NKJV] 👉🏻God is not impressed by mere appearance. ✍️ One of the purposes of fasting is that you will be humbled. • Fasting deals with the flesh, your desires. • Fasting is a system of consecration that prunes your idols. 👉🏻The priesthood and the gift are different. A person that is gifted can stand on the pulpit but it takes one to have a priesthood to be able to stand before the Lord. • Not everyone who stands on the pulpit stands before God. 👉🏻Ezekiel 3:1 NKJV, Ezekiel ate the scroll from the presence of God. If Ezekiel had not been in the presence of the LORD, he would not have known that it’s mandatory requirement for all ministers to eat the scroll.
