I Thought It Was Ready...Then it Cracked Under Pressure
Last episode this BMW GS finally started for the first time after the engine rebuild… and honestly, for a few minutes there I genuinely thought the hard part was over. Then I tried vacuum filling the cooling system… …and the bike failed the pressure test. So in this episode I start chasing coolant leaks, discover a stripped thread, make another late-night trip to the bike spares shop, test the system again and finally attempt the first proper ride on Special Edition 3. But somewhere during all of this… I also discovered something else that now has me slightly worried again. This build keeps reminding me that auction bikes don’t just test your mechanical ability… they test your patience, emotions and sometimes even your sanity 😅 And honestly… I think that’s exactly why I’m starting to love this GS. If you enjoy these types of honest garage adventures, then consider subscribing and joining the journey. And if YouTube gives you the option, feel free to share a picture of your motorcycle on the community page. I genuinely enjoy seeing what everyone rides and hearing your stories. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. 🙌
