The workshop by Sankai Juku founding member Semimaru has been held in 53 cities in 15 countries since 1986 to the present. Many people from all over the world who are interested in Butoh, including instructors of physical expression such as Butoh, contemporary dance, and yoga, participate. Yoichiro Yoshikawa, who has recorded and produced video works of Sankai Juku, closely recorded a workshop held in Pontedera, a town near Florence, Italy. You can learn the basics of Sankai Juku Butoh, which has many followers around the world, through online study.
